Is the SeaSonic S12II 620W 80+ a safe power supply and are there any others that are better to get?

It absolutely is. It's an excellent unit from an excellent, reputable manufacturer. If ~£50-60 is your budget, then this is the perfect unit. :)

Safe? Definitely.

Is there better out there? Also definitely.

What's the best ATX PSU in your opinion? A super flower leadex or something?

Corsair's:

AXi, RMi, RMx, HXi, RM 750W/850W

EVGA's:

GQ 650W, 850W (850W is a bit better)

Antec's:

High Current Pro Platinum

HCG-900

The above are unique to their brands as far as I know so I'm bringing them up in particular.

The below aren't unique from what I can tell and can be found elsewhere under different brands. Use http://www.orionpsudb.com/platforms to help find them. You can also click on the brand names on the top of the page to see what there is for each brand.

SeaSonic's:

X KM, X KM2, X KM3

XP2, XP3

Or just really anything from SeaSonic that is X something and the same ones under different brands.

There's also SeaSonic's G, which is also worse than the above SeaSonics, but still good.

SuperFlower's:

Leadex Platinum and Gold

Golden Green

FSP's:

Hydro G series (I don't know of any rebadging of these going on though)

Aurum Pro, Aurum PT

These are all what I know of off-hand. There is a lot more out there. But ALL that I listed should be overall better than SeaSonic's S12II, whether it's moderately or a big difference.

Tbh I made this comment longer than necessary just so I can save it for quick reference and for copying and pasting.
