Don't tell me you are the kind of guy who thinks more watt means a better quality power supply...

Anything above 600 W is useless for 99.5% of builds (even with SLI and 4 HDD) .

Obviously not, no where did I say that outside of the same line of PSU's. Are you one of those who can't read...Guessing so since you made that comment.

Anything above 600 W is useless for 99.5% of builds (even with SLI and 4 HDD) .

With SLI with two cards like two GTX 1070's you can push to about 550 watts or so under full load, you would definitely want a 650 watt PSU for SLI, 600 watts would also work but I can't name any good 600 watts units off of the top of my head, plus not many PSU's less than 650 watts supply come with 4 PCI-E cables. Plus you are forgetting Haswell E/Broadwell which can use quite a bit of power overclocked.
