I put this together after ordering all parts for crazy black Friday specials. The case was $20 delivery included from Amazon.ca. It's the perfect size, has everything I would need and more and was dirt-cheap. The finish is black in and out, and the build quality is not what I expected at such a low price. The processor, it does the job, and is super fast. Since it has dual cores with hyper threading, it's got all the power games need. The RAM was also cheap, $89.99 plus $5 delivery. Power supply I got for $29.99 after rebate, and the motherboard, $29 after rebates also, and it's 1151! The graphics card was the most expensive part, and at $169.99 shipped, it's worth it. I have tried every game on high settings and it doesn't flinch. I had the monitor already, bought a few years ago.
Since it has dual cores with hyper threading, it's got all the power games need, and at $135 you can't go wrong!
$29 after rebates, and it's 1151! Plus the added bonus of having heat sinks on the chip sets makes it more durable than other boards in its class. I especially like that the design doesn't allow the graphics board to cover the PCIx1 slot, which most other boards do. It's really a great board.
Fast. I actually got the Forza, which doesn't show up on pcpartpicker.com for some reason. $89 plus $5 shipping from newegg.ca for 16GB of DDR4-3200. Crazy. The processor only allows it to go to 2133MHz but since it was the same price I bought the faster modules.
Got this back in August on an Amazon.ca flash sale, was $150 CDN. Should have bought 3. Live and learn. Super fast read and write, crazy GB/$ ratio. Noticed that it's been discontinued, not sure why. If anyone knows please give a shout out.
Got this as a used OEM pull from an ASUS laptop on kijiji locally. Good deal.
$170 CDN after rebate. 1050 Ti for the sale price of the non-Ti. Price has skyrocketed since I bought it, currently at $230 on ncix.com. This pascal-based board does everything it needs to to push 1080p gaming at ultra settings and great frame rates, at 75W. Something no AMD cards can seem to do. Keeps this box right quiet.
Got this for $20 from amazon.ca, shipped. Great build quality at any price, nice and compact, sturdy, great for a micro-atx build.
Great quality non-modular power supply. I don't get why everyone is so hot for modular power supplies, this does everything I need, is quiet, great look, good quality, great price at $29 after rebate.
