Update: 9/8/2017 - After instllation of Thermaltake RL360 liquid cooling
I'm so happy with my PC build and choice, today and after installing ThermalTake RL360 liquid cooling and running again the benchmark test, results were breathtaking to be selected #1 CPU performance in both Single and Multi thread (8) cores :)
Score of multi thread superseded the 8core 16 thread and almost similar to 12 cores CPU with very small difference of 30 MHz :)
Attached updated images of the results, and soon I will update the liquid coolant installation.
This is my second build, first built was in 2009 it was an HTPC case and Intel I965 extreme, 24GB, GPU 4GB, SSD 512GB, 12TB and it still rocks till date actually it par with my current setup in real life operation.
Project design is based on two factors:
A- Best Performance - Nothing less than UFO (Gaming, Workstation & PC) B- Outstanding look
Taking those two factors into consideration I started the design, it took me a while to decide between multiple processors and the number of cores I should select, I had my eye on 3 different models:
Intel i9 (12cores) AMD 1800x (8 Cores) i7 7700k (4 Cores)
At the end, I choose intel i7 base on all the reviews from the market, although the AMD 1800x is much better for multitasking than the 4 core CPU.
The Build
Case was my main objective, I wanted to be a showcase and personally I don't like the tower case at all, I find it more like a toy than business device, I kept looking for case till I came across the Thermaltake P5 and I knew I had a winner since then, even though the shipping price to where I live is double the price of the case itself.
Performance:
Knowing that the total operational performance is related to the bootlneck of the customized hardware, I decided the following:
1- No SATA cable, except for backup, primary I will use 2 x M.2 SSD mounted on board to avoid SATA 6MHz bottleneck 2- M.2 I have selected the PRO version to ensure maximum Writing speed 3- RAM - 32GB and 3200MHz 4- CPU can top up all that :)
Result of the built speak for itself, nothing but the best today and therefore I'm very glad of the selection.

Part Reviews
CPU
CPU: Intel i7 7700k:
l have mixed feeling about this processor, first lets start with the positive side:
Pro: Great speed, i was able to overclock it to 5.53 ghz without a problem, and reached benchmark number one on CMU-Z with speed of 577 beating any similar processor around.
with clock speed 4.2 - 4.5 ghz this CPU speed is more then capable to handle any application no matter what, i'm running Lightroom, Photoshop, Bridge, Time Lapse application, plus other application and yet able to play COD in the background at full fps on Eco mode :)
Cons: processor can overheat and have spikes in temp, this is what many reported and i have noticed till I was able to fix it by resting bios, i was able to solve this issue buy bios reset, and i'm not sure if it was a bio, but now i'm no longer overclocking the CPU, i'm leaving it on Eco mode or performance up to 4.5ghz.
Temp works idle 30c maximum while playing games <45c
Benchmark is beyond great, since i received fastest single thread result in july 2017 @ 557
Maybe when i'm going to receive my new liquid coolant i will give it another try, but it will be for benchmark purposes only, since there is no application which will require anything above 4.5ghz that i'm using.
Motherboard
ASUS ROG STRIX Z270E GAMING LGA1151 DDR4 DP HDMI DVI M.2 ATX Motherboard with onboard AC Wifi and USB 3.1
I'm in love with this MB, my list of Pros can not finish: Pros: Dual M.2 USB 3.1 - C Type 4 slots ram Aura Lighting control for all lighting Network: 10,000 gb WIFI and Bluetooth antenna
Cons: dont support VR Ram support up to 3200mhz where the Hero can support 4200mhz
Memory
Ram 32gb, 4x8gb 3200mhz, its working as its intending almost all time >3190MHz
Storage
SSD Samsung 960 Pro, its a beast and i'm intending to buy another one since my board can handle 2, writing speed on this SSD is 4000 mhz, imagine another raid 0, this will double writing speed :) to 8000 or more.
ro NVMe PCIe M.2 512GB - 337.3%
Video Card
GPU: 1070 i love it, quite, can handle all my work without spinning of its fans most of the time, can generate on ULTIMATE video settings >125, >91 fps COD remastered and <125, > 91 COD Infinite warfare 2 @1080 (3) monitors - Note, i was able to overclock it to 2050mhz
Case
ase is ThermalTake P5, first allow me to say that i'm not a person who like Tower cases for many reasons, i find it more for business and gaming to me its boring and looks cheap, i wanted something much better visually, and Thermaltake was my preferred choice, and i love it.
I bought an LCD wall mount and mounted this beast to the wall for two reasons, for show case, i want to use 3 monitor setup and P5 size is huge to be a desktop. it will take all your space.
Pros: The housing is great, plenty of space for MB, liquid cooling, GPU can be mounted in both on board or horizontal, (5) HDD locations, all cables can be hidden and more, USB 3.0 & 2.0 supported.
Best for me ability to mount this case in all shapes, standing, laying down and wall mount, with ability to upgrade for full tempered glass housing.
Cons: -No air flow, this case is not for air coolant neither small liquid coolant because of the shape, if you are planing to buy it you need to spend money on Liquid coolant with 480mm radiator, 4 fans preferred from Thermaltake, for bracket compatibility.
-No place to mound DVD/BD
-No 3.1 USB on case, however its not a big deal since this case is open from all sides but you.
Note: dont repeat my mistake, i took shortcut for budget and purchased the H55 and immediately regret it, and had to fix my mistake with bigger mistake and end up with liquid coolant, overall i had to pay 3 times for coolant. H55 + HD120 to cover the empty space in case, then Thermaltake package liquid cooling.
Power Supply
I gave it 4 stars because LED cannot be controlled from MB and its manual control, which is useless
Case Fan
4 stars because of no LED light control from MB
Case Fan
Tricky, if you need to control LED using MB you need to pay additional 65 USD which is crazy. RGB gives one color at a time for the 3 fans, not as you can see in picture at all, false adv
