Description

This is my first build, I will mostly be using this for light gaming and hopefully youtube editing and recording, as well as some personal projects in the future.

I plan to upgrade the gpu and monitor in the future. I cant figure out how to get my msi gaming app to work, probably user error. I also could not figure out how to use the rgb on my cpu cooler.

Edit: I got my rgb cooler to look at least decent with my build. I have it flashing red right now to fit into my theme

Part Reviews

CPU

Fantastic. Overkill for what I do with it

CPU Cooler

I wish it was easier to work with the rgb, in my build i was forced to use the controller inside rather than through software. but it keeps my system nice and cool

Motherboard

Does everything I wanted it to

Memory

Absolutely love these. Rgb works very well and fantastic speed compared to what I used to run off.

Storage

Super fast compared to a HDD

Video Card

I bought this when it was $260 Works great

Power Supply

Delivers power. Works for me

Wireless Network Adapter

I'm only using this until I move off to college next semester. faster than any other wifi I've used

Keyboard

I LOVE THIS KEYBOARD never going back to membrane

Headphones

These headphones have better sound quality than any other way I have listened to any sound.

Red/black themes always get me. +1 Is the title taken from the game Runescape by any chance?

theres a website where you can get windows keys for about $14 . They were on one of Linustechtips's videos and Techsource metioned them a lot. Also I think you should've bought a better monitor. It says it was $200 plus and only 60 hz but you can get a 144hz acer monitor for $169.99 . With the money you could've saved from the monitor, you could've bought a better ssd with 1tb - 2tb . Overall I love the pc, just some suggestions. Good job!

when I bought the monitor, it was the cheapest 1080p 60hz monitor, was like $80. I personally was willing to pay the extra to purchase the windows usb stick because i like to do a fresh install when my computers start to slow down. at the time ssd's were expensive af. but thanks for the feedback
