Can tell you from now you've got a feature my man. A plethora of amazing, detailed photos, a lengthy description and an overall amazing build is what secures it. Nice work! +1 ;)

How would I go about getting my build featured?

  • 1 point

To have a featured build you want:

  • A decent description, but if your build is over the top the staff might overlook it ;)
  • A good number of clear photos
  • Something that's appealing to the majority of people

You might not always be featured even if you have those things tho. There could be someone who posts a better build than you at the time. Hope this helps :)

Yeah, I took a look at yours and it looks amazing too. Seems like you were unlucky ;(

Hopefully a +1 will do :)

What did you use for lighting?

I got the BitFenix Alchemy 2.0 Magnetic LED Strips. Super bright by the way! I had to cover up most of the LEDs with black electrical tape. If not, it was like looking into the sun!

Damn, super sleek looking. Love the black and white, the Cryorig coolers truely are beautiful as well.

Can't wait for you to join the Ultrawide Master Race ;)

Going to over clock CPU? Also are you using stock fans?

  • 1 point

Yeah but nothing too crazy, prob just a modest 4.4 Ghz. And yea those are stock NZXT fans, I just bought an extra 2 for the front intake. The case only came with two 120mm fans. I wanted Noctua fans but I passed because of the browns...

Looks like you forgot to install your cables!

only thing i would change is you should use a white or white and black 24pin power cable to make the build look better as i dont thing the gpu cable needs it the 24 pin seems a bit messy for the clean build +1

yeah, I totally agree. I was debating whether or not to buy a set from cablemods for a good week or so. But man, 90$ is kinda steep.

single cables are 5-20$ i got my full set of dark red and black for 55$

is it the full length or just extensions? also where at?

cablemod is my goto for custom cables and extensions is mostlikely cheaper

Amazingly clean build. How clean it looks, with both SSDs and your cable management, and the perfect balance and location of the LED lights make this a beauty to look at. Great job!

Very clean build. Awesome.

I had the same problem with the PCIE bracket and a 1070 FTW while building mine last night. Took the help of a friend to get the damn thumbscrews in. And the cable management, though "easy," was very cramped and like you said, hard to plug things in... I feel like you and I had the exact same problems in general with very similar builds...

Ahhh thats unfortunate to hear about the PCIE bracket. I thought I was a oneoff since this is a highly praised chassis from the pc community. Good thing you had a buddy to assist. I had to do it solo and it made me rage hard.

Great build would look better red and black though!

Did you look at the Vive? Also, you may be putting some pretty high expectations on VR. Vive is the really company to only do it really well.

Haven't tried the Vive yet, gotta find a place that has the demo. I don't think my expectations are too high, I just feel that all the VR games out aren't real games, they all feel like tech demos. Also, I didn't feel that immersion everyone is talking about when I tried it.

Nice build man, btw how's the overall noise from your setup?

  • 1 point

It's not silent but its only audible if the room is completely quiet. Can't notice noise if I'm watching a video or playing a game but when I'm just browsing web, you can hear it if you focus.

Yet another awesome job... The Cryorig CPU cooler really sets everything of in the build a perfect match...

Do the blue words on the GPU not bother you, or can you turn them off? Nice build btw, looking to make something very similar!

  • 2 points

Nah, it doesn't bother me since my monitor covers most of my chassis. But yeah, if you want, you can disable the LEDs on the GPU completely. Also, the LEDs are RGB so you can always pick another color that suits you.

It's actually perfect timing if you're looking to build something similar to the S340. They recently released an updated version of this case called the S340 Elite, and it's now even sexier. I'm actually kinda jelly I didn't build a few months later.

Very cool clean black & white build. Really like it! I'm also planning my next build (very first) with S340/S340 Elite with air cooling and GTX 1080, so here goes my first comment on this site. Awesome work!

Finally I find one with matching Samsung ssd's, I have a similar build but just one 750 500gb. I want to put another in they look tight.
