Part Reviews

CPU

top of line cpu I dont need a gpu because the integrated hd graphics 530 is so powerfull

CPU Cooler

best rated cooler for the price

Motherboard

i was looking for specific functionality and good reviews and this is why i choose this board over others came with a bonus code for world of warship but only works with new accounts.(my account is many years old, it would be stupid to restart a new one) wargaming would not help me out blaming asus did not contact asus as im expecting to waste my time on this i value the code at around 25 $ in game maybe more i would have hope that since this promotion is with the board and the box shows bonus code included i could have benefit from this as i paid premium price for this board

Memory

worked perfectly with updated bios and xmp 2.0 set 16 gig @ 3200

Storage

i got this delivered home for 115 $ Canadian last boxing day and its an amazing ssd

Amazing airflow slick silent

Power Supply

wanted a well reviewed power supply and long warranty Finally received my 20 $ mir check from EVGA about 2-3 months after sending the paperwork

How is the air flow on those NF-A14s on the front?

I have an R5 right now and I'm probably going to sell it and get a Define S, with 4 of those AF-14 fans to match my NH-D15. The R5s airflow is too restrictive for my system, my front hard drive cage has 3 drives in it and I don't use the optical bays so changing to a Define S to increase airflow and cooling seems like a good choice for me. I'm just wondering how those fans specifically move air @ whatever RPM you have them at. Noise levels would be good too even though I know it'll be quiet.

Hey,

I'm looking to buy the ROG VIII Ranger and NH-D15 aswell. I can't make out of the pictures if the NH D15 covers up the PCI X16 slot or not.

I was planning to put a MSI 1070 gaming x in it but i'm afraid the D15 will interfere so the car can't sit as intended.

Would you mind taking a picture that is a bit better so I can see the space between? What do you think, will it fit?

no it does not block the PCI X16 slot i now have a gtx 1080 ftw on it and there is a bit of space left sry for the long delay

Hello! your build looks so awesome! I am thinking about building a similar one, but I would like to know if it is possible to mount the HDD/SSDs on the front instead of the back, and if so, if the 140mm fans would still fit with a 3.5" HDD there. If not, would it fit with a 2.5" SSD? This is my only concern, If this is not possible it would be a dealbreaker for me :(

Thanks in advance!
