This was built and modded specifically for the purpose of being showcased for Gigabyte's 30th anniversary modding contest.
Rules of the contest dictated a Gigabyte motherboard and graphics card. The only Gigabyte motherboard I had on hand was the GA-MA785-US2H ver 1.0. Paired with an Athlon II X2 2.8 Ghz processor, the build was definitely not boasting of power. There was some performance out of the 7970 GPU and the 120 Corsair Force SSD.
The case was great to work with, lightweight yet durable. With very little modding( a couple drilled rivets and 2 new holes), the case was easily put into a reverse ATX configuration.
The noiseblocker fans are super easy to paint. Just even pressure on the blades pushing from the back pops them off with relative ease. Then it's just masking off the motor and voila easily customizable to fit any build.
