The Red Soul

Hello there..my name is Isaac and with this PC i will be doing major video editing for YouTube :) , Gaming , And Day to day tasks such as hours of YouTube watching and Skype. Age 13.

I will now talk about all the parts. Why i picked them. What i like about them. And more

CPU-Originally was gonna get i5 4460 but then friend showed me this and had same performance for a cheaper price. (Bought at Micro Center)

Motherboard-Originally was gonna get the non-micro atx but got this on accident. Still great board. Wished it had WiFi built in because if u put in any other pci card in under the graphics card it blocks the ACX fans on the 750 ti. Other then that has everything basic motherboard has. (Bought on amazon)

GPU 1-Originally got the R9 270x hawk edition and man oh man do i miss that card...but it fried. I still am gonna get a replacement from msi with there 3 year replacement warranty . Lag with 2 monitors..could be cause of fried card but thought id mention it and will update when i get replaced..Great card for video render and C4D Renders. Very quiet. (Bought from newegg)

GPU 2-Got this at bestbuy for great deal of 150...Noisy fans locked at 42%..can be fixed with headset but kinda annoying. No lag with 2 monitors now. Great gaming and render performance.

Ram-Great 8GB ram...Got for good deal of $48 (Newegg)

Power Supply-Great PSU plenty of power and much room for upgrades

Extra Fan-DO NOT BUY THIS FAN. I didn't know there where was a quiet edition and so i bought this not knowing and within a day i unplugged the fan cause of how bloody loud it is.

S340 Red-This Is the case PcPartPicker didn't have the case or color so i had to manually add it. Great case. Little hard to get some motherboard screws in...The screws that come with the case are really confusing...Like what screws to use where..Looks are main reason i spent so much on this case and regret but love it at the same time...In the future when i get proper leds and a nicer looking mobo the side window will be great..Side panel does easily get finger smudges but whatever..front headphone jacks are tight for some headphones...HDD light does not work but i prob have it plugged in wrong like a noob lel.

OS-Had a copy of windows laying around

OS 2-Hackintosh..having major issues atm

Extras...

LEDS- Cheap $3 of amazon...would like to get nxzt paracord leds in future.

The USB thing i had from my old computer so i took that and use that instead of buying a usb hub :D

Hard Drive-Had 1tb laying around from my last desktop..got data transferred on to cheap old $40 hard drive installed Windows 7 and put data back on. never buy cheap hard drives tho.

Main Monitor-27" AOC

Left monitor-Old Acer 24"

Keyboard-Razer Deathstalker

Mousepad-Razer Vespula Mouse-Havit $10 Mouse

Not bad, a little confused on the choice of motherboard but VERY well done on the cable management

Assuming that he can't overclock the CPU and he is not going to upgrade to an SLI setup, this motherboard seems fitting.

Correct...im not crazy with gaming so i dont see me doing sli anytime soon. may go for a better motherboard in the future tho for better looks and overclock etc..

Don't get the NZXT LED strings, 3 of 4 sets ended up losing 2-3 bulbs within a few days, the control board is obnoxious... prefer the alchemy lights from bitfenix honestly, or the logisys similiar strips... just have to connect them with something other than the 3m adhesive they are shippde with (weak).

was the mb and cpu on the hackintosh approved list? apple makes it a tad annoying for osx to accept random parts.

Thanks for the recommendation. do u know any good adhesive for them? and it wasnt on a list but i saw a guide for it. it worked great and alot stuff worked right after install but then i started to have some kext problems and ugh. currently stuck on some ethernet error in -v mode. its a struggle but i havent gave up yet !

http://www.amazon.com/VELCRO-Industrial-Strength-Extreme-Titanium/dp/B001O6T2ZS/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1439410041&sr=8-7&keywords=velcro+strips

hide well in black cases, can be cut to size, strong glue, and allows you to move/remove/replace when needed.

wish apple would just release osx for pc even if it was like $50 apple would make so much money. anyways.

they won't do that, especially now that the internals of their machine are so similar to everyone else's. Not to mention it makes Quality Control a lot harder when you have to worry about supporting so many more configurations... a good chunk of apple's quality comes in having just X product lines for each item, prevents random issues from arising.
