Description

Basic college work and heavy gaming. All games in my steam library run perfectly but so far I have really only used it for League of Legends which doesn't require much. I built this PC with my Dad and although it might have been a bit cheaper to buy a pre-built I had a ton of fun building this and it gave me something that I could do that both my Dad and I would enjoy. The only problem that I had was that my first graphics card died but the person gave it to me for free because they knew it was on its last legs so I didn't really lose anything. Just took me a bit longer than I would have liked to get it going.

Nothing like a father and son bonding moment building a pc together.

It'll do a lot more than run League of Legends.

+1 from me - solid build!

Also, just noting, I have yet to see a pre-built that stands up to a custom made PC in cost and quality! I would sleep well if I were you knowing a you probably saved $200-$300. (Just googled "Pre-built 7700k 1060 6Gb and found an IbuyPower "Gamer Special" that's practically the same quality only half as much of a worse type RAM (8Gb of DDR4-2400) and it's on sale for $1.5k...) - Great job =)

Ya the CPU and the Motherboard were in a bundle that couldn't be passed up. Thanks :) I like it.

Why the Naga for league of legends then? I am pretty sure most games on steam won't use the buttons either

I had a Naga Hex that died on me. I am used to the shape and feel. Also enjoy Razer products even though they aren't the best quality. But when you have the NZXT Razer Edition, Razer Firefly Mousepad, and a Razer Keyboard it would feel weird to not have a Razer Mouse. And the side buttons can be binded to keys if I so wished.

Did you think about Ryzen at all? All the cores for heavy gaming

yea i have the razer naga chroma mouse and i almost exclusively play first person shooter games lol. But like the OP said once you get used to the feel it really isnt like any other standard mouse. Also like the OP said you can customize any of the buttons to do any function you want. like i have the buttons of 10,11, and 12 all doing windows functions such as alt+tab or bring up task manager multimedia functions and so on. The mouse also has the stock settings set up so that each button simply corresponds to the same number on the keyboard so all you would have to do is set the key binding in game to have your jump or crouch set to like 1 or 2 or 3 or something and your all set you dont even need to setup macros lol super handy and super convenient other than all the crap people give me for playing fps game with a mmo mouse lolz to each their own i suppose and what ever looks the best and makes you comfortable and play better.

How are you finding the temperatures for that? I'm working on a similar build (same CPU, Video Card and CPU cooler) but was concerned with the cooler keeping up.

Look up the program "MSI Afterburner" it measures all of that regardless of the make. I am pretty sure I got CPU temperature from the bios but everything else came from afterburner.

I don't have it yet i'm planning to order the parts in November, was curious how its worked out for you since I was planning on getting the same CPU and CPU cooler and heard that the 7700k had heating issues.
