Description

I decided to finally do something about my Frankenstein of a current PC which has parts dating back over 15 years, the most notorious of which is the hideous case.

I set out with an about $2000 budget which was completely demolished.

The processor is a 5.0 GHz from Silicon Lottery and is running beautifully so far.

Also, I respect people who can execute beautiful cable management. It is such a pain to do properly. I spent several hours messing with the cables and what you see is almost as good as I can do. I am going to better hide the AIO cables which have enough play to to be tucked in various spots. Looking at it now, I think the PSU cables would have probably been better to go with rather than the Cable Mod cables, so I may redo those as well.

Notes:
- The price list does not include the almost $200 in Corsair ML fans
- The video card was a kick in the nuts

Thanks! That's 1 XP and 8700K more than I had a few days ago.

Ah. I thought you were conveying something differently with your sarcasm.
