This is a rebuild of my wife's awful loud and obnoxious PC. Replaced an Enermax Ostrog Pink case and trashed a bunch of blue fans that came stock in a few Rosewill cases about a decade ago and a couple Purple AF120's going back into the stock bin. Most of her components are the parts that I have upgraded on my machine but I finally convinced her to let me get her a good fully featured case.
She primarily plays non-AAA title games, streams on Twitch and typically has 8-10 browser pages open, a minimum of at least two dozen sticky notes on the desktop and at least 3-4 smaller applications running (VOIP, Parsers and other small Java applications)
AMD FX-6300 handles her multitasking needs well at a really affordable price.
Fair temps for a lower end closed loop system and super easy installation.
UEFI bios, seen better implementations but it worked well enough. Lower end motherboard but has the features she will actually use.
I love the Samsung 850's. I have some in all of my rigs. Larger capacity versions get better performance over the smaller ones.
Handles her 1080p gaming and streaming well. Star Wars: The Old Republic and Final Fantasy Realm Reborn she is running high settings and getting around 60 FPS. Heaven benchmark got 35 FPS on ultra settings with 4x Multisample
The NZXT H440 was a dream to work with. Motherboard cutouts are very generous for both CPU cooler and CPU power cable. Great cable management with high quality rubber grommets. Metal PSU cover has a ton of room to tuck extra cables not to mention two SSD mounts and more cutouts for the SSD's as well as USB, HD audio cables ect. I actually shoved an optical drive in the shroud for my install and was still able to close the case. Front face, Top and both sides have noise dampening material and had a little bit of weight to it. Sturdy construction, nothing flexxed. Top of case interior can fit two 140mm fans or 3 120's (I went with one 120 for the H75 + Rad and a 140. Interior mounts only. There is not enough room to mount any fans above the case. Fan mounts on top and rear of the case are slotted so there is plenty of room to adjust positioning. Feet are tall enough to allow air flow even on carpet and on a hard surface there's enough room to mount fans on the exterior of the case underneath. All HDD racks have rubber grommets and mount easily using the bottom screw mounts. Comes with white LED NZXT logo and rear I/O lighting so you can actually see what your trying to plug in. The only con I had with this case was that I wish it was a fan controller and not just a 10-fan hub.
Its Corsair, fan only kicks on under load and its fully modular.
Wireless Network Adapter
TP-Link has been my go-to PCI-E wireless card. Bought many, returned none. Reliable and picks up signals well. Really well priced.
