Description

This Is the story of Project: Red Falcon.

It started out as a budget build at $400. Then I wanted to get a better case and fans and.........It got a bit out of hand. Went up by $200. Whatever. IT LOOKS AWESOME. I like it. I had a good idea of what I thought it was going to look like, then I put it together and, WOW. The feeling of accomplishment surged when everything worked. OK enough about all that. Now on to...

THE PARTS

CPU The budget killer of 2018. It works great. Plenty of power for the small/medium gamer.

MOTHERBOARD Aorus is a good company. I needed WIFI on it so this was the one to get.

RAM Went with the theme. Great pair with the CPU.

STORAGE 480GB is the right number for a budget. You can get at least 5 good quality games on there.

CASE This is the best ITX case I could find for future proofing and also that matched the theme.

PSU Right price. The forum helped me find that one. Thanks.

FANS Even though they are cheap fans from Amazon they work great and light up the case.

Thanks for looking at this!

(This build is for sale! PM me for more info if you are interested.)

Part Reviews

Motherboard

Good WIFI for the price. Plus I like Aorus.

Memory

Works great! Hey, it even matched the theme.

Storage

Plenty of storage for a budget.

Case

This case looks even better IRL. TIP: You will need different mounting screws for the front.

Operating System

It's Windows.

Hey dude, great build! +1

I'm building a mini-itx and I plan on using the same APU and MOBO. Anything I should know about them? Does the Wifi work easily? I haven't built a pc so i don't know much. And can you overclock it?

No problems with it yet. its tonna fast and wifi is great! you should be able to overclock it but I haven't tried yet. It's for sale actually if u want to buy it.

I'm building my PC in a mini ITX case, so I'd only need the CPU, RAM, and MOBO. Are you selling the whole thing or individual parts? Also how much are you selling it/the parts for? And how long have you had it?

From the review I hear that it overvolts resulting in bad temps. But if there’s no problem, this board is awesome.

nope, I haven't had that as a problem.

I had this board then died after a month. Can't push overclocking with this its just gets too hot. Such a letdown for a good looking board. Replaced it with asus rog b450
