Description

This is my first computer build, save money from football bets and my birthday # Winnings. Took about 3hrs to put together worked first time happy days. it did give me a fright when I pushed the power button and nothing happened then I remembered I hadn't turned it on at the back. This CPU sits idle at 32c and when playing games goes to like 57c The Gpu runs at 34c idle and playing games 57c-70c 1050Mhz play all games on Ultra with out any issues although not tried the new batman yet lol P.S I know I need a better monitor

The new batman game, like cilvre said, was a horrible port; one of the worst I've ever seen. You can fix some things, like, for example, the 30fps limit by editing some of the files, but it got horrid pc reviews for the bad port.

As far as the build goes, you did really well. Cables look good, components are rock solid. Not much here to criticize. Good job.

Yer I've read the reviews think ill give batman a miss till the steam sale, thanks for liking the build don't think there was any thing I could have done to improve it apart from buying better fans that run off the motherboard and get 2x gpu but I'll wait till I get a better monitor for that

a monitor would definitely be a good upgrade for you, what kind of monitors are you looking at? looking at just size or tech as well?

im looking at Asus VG248QE 144Hz 24.0 or BenQ GL2460HM 60Hz 24.0 what do you think of these? im selling my laptop on ebay so hopefully this will help with the costs, I only need one good monitor as the top two are just for when I make music so I can have my vst and mixer on different windows (more work room)

i recommend the asus of those two. I have an asus VN248H-P that i really enjoy. you may consider looking at that one as well. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-monitor-vn248hp it occasionally goes on sale down to 130.

moving your current primary monitor to replace one of the two up top would be helpful for a bit more screen space for you as well i think.
