Description

What happened: A client wanted a black and green build just like the Razer color scheme. Even though this motherboard didn't have a rgb header, it was still possibly to use Asus aura. You would just need to download the program from the Asus website, then you can control the lightening. Kaby lake gets really hot especially when it's not delidded. I had an overclock of 4.7 at 1.3 volts. After 10 mins of Aida 64, my highest temp was 80 degrees. As for the graphics card, I only did +10 to core and memory. The fans used are great budget fans. It has many light affects however there's only two fan speed options (fast and slow).

Problems: Using a big PSU like the evga g2, it was a tight fit. I'd recommend getting a smaller PSU if possible. It was hard to cable manage the extra set of cables needed for the evga 1080 ftw card. With this motherboard combined with this case, you only need to screw in 6-7 standoff screws.

If you built this recently, Why not an 8th gen intel and not a 7th gen? Anyways +1

The client didn't want to spend more money. His priority was a few games (battlefield 1 and PUBG for now) along with doing school work.

Nice build! Going for the same exact color scheme on my 1080 8700k build. Quick question about the Geil Super Luce; can the stickers be removed, and is logo in the center removable, or is it some type of embedded plastic? Thanks!

I currently do not have the build anymore however I'm pretty sure that you could remove the sticker.

Sorry for the late reply! These fans are still working great. These fans have two modes, slow and fast. Slow mode is inaudible, but fast mode you could hear it.
