So I decided to make an HTPC for my home theater setup and grabbed parts that I had from an older build. Many of the parts are overkill for an HTPC or a NAS when you think of them as just an HTPC or a NAS but I wanted it to be both, and I wanted it to game locally so the parts don't seem as outrageous in that context. Plus, like I said some of the parts like the CPU were stollen from an older build of mine. This system is certainly not cheap but most of the money is spent on the 17TB of storage which is used as the backup storage for my YouTube channel: NeXTech News. The only major mistake I made in building this PC was my choice of graphics card I chose the MSI 1060 6GB Gaming X card and painted it to match the theme, which you can see here: https://youtu.be/JZV9Fz7_VhY. As you can see from the PC Part Picker list this card is not compatible with the Corsair Air 240 case which I had already chosen for this build so to remedy this I modded the case to allow me to make the GPU vertical which allowed it to fit in the case. I think the mod actually came out decent and definitely made the build still work which was awesome!

What theme do you think it is Halloween or Himalayan Rock Salt?
