Description

I recently upgraded my Setup, you can check how it looks here: https://youtu.be/0ZqccXWhdLM

This setup cost around 45,000 PHP or around $920 here in the Philippines. Since we have limited stocks i'm waiting for the GPU price to go down. Planning to upgrade to GTX 1060 or 1070 anytime soon.

What's up with the desk change?

you probably should get a better monitor before you invest in something else like a gtx 1080 or 1080 ti

I would like too but 1080 is quite overkill for me. Since i don't play high end games. A better monitor? I would rather get 3 LG 23mp68vq than getting an ultrawide monitor or 144hz monitor.

LG isn't that good I would use ASUS because for 200 AUD you can get 75-100hz monitor

I'm ok with LG there's no issue at all. Viewing angles are good. 60 - 75 - 100hz doesn't matter to me. Since i mostly use this for Work and Games, well most of the games i play doesn't require that much.

The wrath spire should already have thermal paste applied to it.

I don't understand this ssd and gpu obsession. This is a good, rocking, well done, also upgradable pc. This is all matters. Salute man +1 for your good work. I really like it.

Thank you! I did it on purpose just incase i have rooms to upgrade on RAM, GPU and even CPU cooler just incase.

Does the CPU come with a CPU cooler, and if it does, does it have pre-applied thermal paste?

The Wraith Spire has a pre-applied thermal paste and ready to be installed. But if you're using a different CPU cooler then you'll need to use a thermal paste included on the cpu cooler you'll be using.

your Ryzen is getting bottlenecked BAD whenever you get the money get a 6gb 1060 or a 8gb 1070

  • 1 point

What do you mean bottlenecked BAD?

  • 1 point

you aren't getting the most or even close too the amount of performance you could get

  • 2 points

That's ok since this GPU is sufficient enough for now for the games i'm playing but will be upgrading once the GPU prices here in PH is stable enough

I just was making sure you were aware of that

Yes thank you for the info. I'm aware of that and i really really wanted to get 1060 or 1070 but the price is still expensive.

Ths CPU can't be bottlenecked by a GPU as good as a 1000 Series NVIDIA. Even the lowest 1050 can't lower the performance of a Ryzen 1400. It is actually meant to be paired with a low-cost GPU such as the one he chose, or a Radeon 460.

Yes and i don't see any problems or encounter any issues while playing.

Dude as shown in Bitwit vid a Ryzen 3 can handle a 580 or a 1060 a 1050 is meant low 1080p to mid to high 720

Yes i saw that video. However he's talking about high end GPU's and High END games. Most of the games i play doesnt require higher resolution so i don't think i will encounter any problem with this. I'm playing Overwatch and getting around 80-95 FPS on Ultra settings.

You could of gotten better parts instead of buying expensive RAM and a Ryzen 5. Your going to need an SSD later to store your programs on. If the GPU is temporary then sure go with it

And for the SSD i'm ok with my WDC blue 1tb. Its really fast as well as the Fast boot option of Gigabyte. The loading time is less than 30 secs

I'm ok with this setup since i can support my Productivity work and Gaming hobby. GPU is temporary, i'm just waiting for the price to settle down.

You could have gotten a better GPU if you didn't spend it on "gaming" peripherals or on 16gb worth of RGB RAM.

Actually i'm using this mainly for Work and Productivity. The peripherals are the first one i bought last year and the CPU was recently bought. The price of GPU here in the Philippines is quite 30% expensive than the other countries.
